Fee disburses €464 million to Lithuania underneath NextGenerationEU

On 14 January, the European Fee disbursed €464 million to Lithuania, marking the fourth fee underneath the Restoration and Resilience Facility (RRF). The Facility is the centerpiece of NextGenerationEU – the Fee’s post-pandemic programme to assist Member States’ restoration, financial development, and competitiveness.

The Fee partially greenlighted this request on 13 November 2025. Lithuania submitted its fee request to the Fee on 4 August 2025.  Of the €514.5 million initially requested by Lithuania, an quantity of roughly €59 million has been suspended because of the partial fulfilment of a milestone associated to private revenue taxation and social insurance coverage contributions.
